Title: Winter Vegetable Bread- for Bread Machines

LARGE LOAF-1-1/2 LBS
2tbActive dry yeast
1 1/2cBread flour
3tbBread flour
3tbRolled oats
1 1/2cWhole wheat flour
1 1/2tsGinger
1 1/2tbSugar
1 1/2tsSalt
1 1/2tbVegetable oil
3/4cWater
3/4cGrated carrots
3/4cCanned beets, chopped

**This bread is pink on the outside and golden within, flecked with red and orange color and flavor that will brighten up any dreary winter day. Cold meat, such as roast beef or ham, fills these slices very well. this rbead also tastes good with beef and barley soup or beef stew- June Hoffman.

All all the ingredients except the carrots and beets in the order suggested by your bread machine manual and process on the basic bread cycle according to manufacturer's directions.

At the beeper ( or at the end of the first kneading cycle in the Panasonic or National), add the carrots and beets. Small Loaf-1lb:1-1/2 ts yeast, 1-1/4 cup bread flour, 2 tb rolled oats, 1 cup whole wheat flour, 1 ts ginger, 1 tb sugar, 1-1/2 ts dalt 1 tb vegetable oil, 1/2 cup water, 1/2 cup carrots, grated, and 1/2 cup canned beets, chopped.
